alighting in LA, en route to the center

I had a brief layover in L.A. for a bit of sun and saltwater before continuing on to Australia, where Sara and Bella picked me up in Perth.


We stopped at this roadside fruit stand and gas station, and confirmed that the center of the universe is wherever your family is.


I left my apartment in Brooklyn before 5:00 am Sunday morning and took this picture Tuesday night, getting to Sara and Doug's for the first time:
